I have the same issue with all 4 tires on my Ford Edge Sport 2011 - i have to check and put air in my tires every week...

 

I raised it once when i got my oil changed when 1 tire was leaking and they said they checked it and they could not find anything...

 

Now i'm out of warranty...fantastic...this will be my first and last ford....

Ford resealed all 4 tires...let's see how that goes. Btw, I still have warranty until September...my mistake

Install completed successfully. I have a few other issues (trim lifting and leaking tires) so i went to the dealer and will be bringing the car in for the repairs. They did indicate there is a recall on the nav card so apparently i will be receiving a new nav card...

The same thing happened to me during my update, but I'm afraid it'll take a trip to the dealership to sort it out. After I received my message of "Installation Failed The Installation has run out of space or does not work with this version."...screen went blank and attempted to reboot but only displays a F9(F like Adobe Flash and a small 9 in a yellow triangle on the bottom right of the F). I think my installation attempted to write the files and now my system looks like it's bricked. I have access to the backup camera in reverse, but nothing else. on the screen. Anyone else experience this? I was hoping there was a way to initiate a fresh install.

I got the same message - i pressed ok and then it was stuck on install 1 of 9 for an hour. Not knowing what else to do, i shutdown the engine and waited for the usb key light to turn off, then removed the usb key, started the engine, and re-inserted the usb key, it started from where it left off and continued. Install completed successfully. Of course, i found the instructions there after where they indicate to do the master reset. Some how it has worked...

In the summer, I held on to it as I wanted too see if any issues would come up. Also, I had no real issues with sync until a few days ago where my navi no longer works and the backup camera green/yellow/red proximity sensors are no longer working...

I just opened the package from ford and both the upgrade USB and new navi sd card are included in the package...

From what I read several people have had issues with the install...should I do the install?

Don't have a pic at the moment, however, it is the vertical trim (left side of the rear door when facing the door). It has lifted away from the body.

I have a Ford Edge Sport 2011 and i have noticed the trim around the drivers side rear window lifting...

Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty?, however, i believe my 3 warranty has just expired in October...

Has this happened for anyone else? and does anyone have good suggestions on how to fix it? good glue?

i have the same situation with my ford edge sport 2011...i just bring the temp back to LO and bring up gradually...also, use the defrost and leg warming mode...not ideal but an issue i can live with

No, they would not do it that way, the headlight unit is sealed. They would use a film with a blow dryer, or they can spray it on then clear coat to seal... i would use VHT nite shades spray, google it...

Agreed - looks nice. I assume he removed the lense and tinted the inside? silly question but just want to make sure.

I have a theory. A longshot. But a theory nonetheless.

 

I've had BluEdge since 9/21. Built on 9/1. That's two months and two weeks. I had two problems, only one of which I can attribute to software. My original SD nav card was bad and it took a while for the dealer techs and Ford to determine it wasn't in-car hardware or software before they sent a new card. Then I had trouble with my [non-Apple] phone BT pairing for which I was told to get a 'reflash' of the software. That occurred and I have not had (knock, knock) any problems since.

 

Until today. You knew it was coming. We drove to the dog park. Used a Google Maps download to set a destination. (I knew where I was going, but the reflash wiped my dest favorites, so I thought I'd redo it). Was listening to Sirius on the way. Volume was low and turned Audio off as we pulled in. Opened the rear hatch as we parked and closed it with the inside button. Did not lock the Edge. This is key to my theory. Everything's working fine - SYNC services, nav, Sirius (except for the subscription crap).

 

We let the pup run around a bit to get her exercise and headed back to the car before too long. As we got near the car, the rear hatch opened by itself. It was actually kind of convenient - but scary. It stayed open just long enough for my wife to put away the dog stuff, then it closed on its own. Got in, started the car and turned on Audio. I use the on/off in the middle of the black dial usually to do this. Sirius comes on - same channel as we were listening to - but at near half volume. Way louder than when I turned it off.

 

That was it. Enough to make me start to worry. So here's my theory - maybe those of you with many more problems than I've had could support it or shoot holes in it - I always (99%) lock the Edge. Usually with the driver's handle bump. This time (and only one or two others) I left it unlocked. Call me paranoid, but I always lock it. Even in my garage. Could this have anything to do with all the bizarre quirks going on? Do those of you who've had problems lock? or keep unlocked? I'm grasping here, just trying to determine a common denominator. I know that the screens stay on if left unlocked. I see them cut off as I lock. Maybe there's more going on - bad stuff - when left unlocked. If the screens stay on, what else could be on? Does "lock" equate to "logoff"?

i leave my ford edge sport 2011 in the garage unlocked and only issue so far (knock on wood) was the backup camera scrolling - which has not occurred in a few weeks now. I've had the car since Sept 22.

The Backup Camera on my new Ford Edge Sport 2011 will scroll at times - doesn't happen all the time, however, when it does, it goes away after i shut the engine and restart. Has anyone else experienced this intermittent issue and know the cause of it?

Congrats!!! I want to get the Sport in White and I will be buying within the next two months. Can you post pics of your ride? That would be great! Once again, CONGRATS!!!
