Cabin Air Filter -- possible to add?

Hello! What is an "EATC" and/or an "EMTC" vehicle? Where do you find out what you have? I have a 2008 Edge SEL ... with only a screen no filter. Filter was fairly clean ... no bugs/birds/bats or large objects ... just a bit of dust. Cleaned/replaced/all ok.
