Does anyone know if the Apple iPhone will work with Ford Sync? I can't seem to get an answer anywhere.

You bet it does, bluetooth turned on you should have no problem at all. My iphone 3GS in synced with my 2010 Edge AWD. The Dealer helped set it up in less than several minutes.

I have an Edge, not a Fusion, but I don't think it makes any difference. The problem seems to be that Ford changed over from 40 bit to 80 bit encryption sometime during the 2010 model year. I'm told the bypass boxes advertised to work on 2010 models will work only on the early year production cars with the older 40 bit encryption. I may try calling Ford directly to see if they have anything to add.

Kinda recall on my 2008 Escape a key was put in, had the dealer install the viper remote start. Had to pay for the extra key.

5K seems to be the minimum with some going to 7500, 10K or even higher with full synthetic.

 

That won't stop the dealers from putting 3K stickers on your windshields (drives me nuts).

Been using full Castrol Synthetic for several years now thru several Taurus, then Escape and now 2010 Edge. My Ford Dealer in canada recommended 8000+ kms between changes not sure if its too early!!

Regular maintenance not covered by warranty. Called a Ford Dealer in my city, it seems the green anti-freeze is new to Ford Edge 2010 from Extended Life yellow/gold colour to green but no other info was made available to me . As mentioned earlier "green" (just a dye) is most commonly known as "universal" BUT not in this case.

Am planning to visit my Dealer for Oil change Monday, I will check this out. Seems most likely this anti-freeze needs to be purchased at the dealer. Winter will be upon us soon for some folks, in Edmonton, Alberta light/wet snow this week, needed some anti-freeze for top up thru the winter months.

This will be my winter season in my new 2010 Edge AWD (just about fully loaded) and am so looking forward to it. Just returned from 2 trips back to back about 2000kms 5 hours each way, the drive was good and very very comfortable. All in all pretty happy with my 2010 Edge .

I have the SE model and recently filled up and it took 19.480 gallons or 73.740 Litres. The gas tank seemed to be filling a little slow but it did kick out at the end as normal. My question is how does the tank, take that much fuel if it's only supposed to be a 19 gallon tank. When the fuel light came on initially I drove for a bit before getting to the station but I would think it would have only took about 18 gallons max. After I left the station I drove about 150km or 93 miles before the needle even moved from the full mark. Anyway, just wondering if I should be concerned here or not.

My 2010 Ford Edge is just a couple of months old, purchased with 8800km, a return from a ford executive. Need to top up anti-freeze and manual calls for green ford speciality, no other info available. Green is mostly called "universal" compatible with aluminum. Extended Life is yellow/gold. My Escape had extended life anitifreeze.

Colours don't mean nothing as its a dye used by manufactures.

Can any one confirm "ford speciality" means?
