Go Terps!!

Mine had a slight hesitation today between the 1-2 shift with the gas pedal floored. This is the first time I've ever noticed it. Is this the slip ya'll are talking about? I only have about 2k miles on it so far. I don't know if its normal or not.

$28,100 OTD SEL FWD

Mine does it too. I think it's some surface rust on the rotors that forms overnight. my .02

I live in Georgia right now. I have a 4x4 Expy if i get stationed somewhere that has snow. I use my ATV's for off-road stuff. So i got a FWD.

i think it would look sweet if they fit. good luck

Is it coolant? If it isn't, i don't have a clue what it is. Did it taste sweet? If it did, it may be coolant. My .02

I use this plastic protectant by AutoArmor. It works good. I like TRIM too...

I went to the store and bought a digital thermometer.
Taped it to my dash.
It's kind of cool actually - because of the reflection, I can see the readout from the thermometer display
on the windshield.
Yes, the numbers are image-reversed, but I can still read them.
So if the image is reversed, it could be 18 degrees, and you would think it was 81 degrees and you wouldn't have the proper clothing and possibly freeze to death when you got out of your car!!!!! You should sue Ford...or call Ralph Nader...or Chuck Norris

That looks great!
That is almost exactly what I've been thinking about.
I was concerned because I would like to keep the factory head unit and didn't know if I could add an amp and sub without replacing it.
I've read a little at the Crutchfield site but have little to no experience with car stereo installation.
Could you post links or some info on how the amp is wired in with the stock head unit?
I don't have a factory sub.
Thanks
I just added an amp and sub to mine. To use the factory radio with an aftermarket amp, you'll need a converter for your factory radio so you can plug the rca's from the amp into it. I got mine from the local audio shop for about 20 bucks. It's pretty easy to do. The whole center of the dash (vents, HVAC controls and all) pops off, then take out 4 screws and you got the radio out. Splice the converter into the rear speaker wires on the radio harness. You can find the wire identification colors on the internet.

My edge only revs up to 4k rpm's or so with the gear shift in park. I learned this by accident. Neato!!!!

Careful with the word "old"...they prefer "wise" and "distguinished"...
On topic: I too was a truck guy, then had kids, been in SUVs since. I have a small trailer, so I can use it as needed since I don't have a truck bed. The Edge was the perfect size and had the most interior legroom for the back seat.
Maybe i should say "i think i'm becoming mature"...my wife doesn't think so though. I had to go the SUV route too. The Edge fits the wife and two kids just as good as our Expedition, we just can't bring as much stuff.

i got door pull pads....i don't know what i'd do without them

I was looking to replace my trusty Toyota Tacoma with an F-150. I drove some and they were cool but i wanted something smoother and quieter. I drove the Edge once and that's all it took. I never thought in a million years that i'd buy a vehicle like this one. I've always been a truck guy....i think i'm getting old.
