I have a 2011 Ford Edge SE with regular climate control (not My Ford Touch) installed. Before turning the vehicle off, I shutdown the climate control. After returning and starting the car, it turns on the climate control and reverts to the settings it was set to before I turned it off. I brought it to the dealer, they checked it and said it was puzzling to them as well. So they called Ford and they claim Ford said this is normal operating procedure. Is this true? I just don't get it... So here it is once more. Climate control on, turn climate control off, then turn car off. turn car on, climate control is now on. If you turn the car back on with 0-10 min's or so it keeps the climate control off. But anytime after that in reverts to the last setting it was on and also turns the climate control on. Any fix to this to keep it off after restart? Thanks!
