2008 Edge White Sand

My Sync software is up to date and I can play music from both my iPhone 4 and iPod 4th gen. My problem is that I listen to podcasts on a daily basis but can't figure out how to play them on SYNC so I hold my iPhone the whole time and would prefer not to do that. I don't see podcasts listed on SYNC's play menu where albums, artists, genres, etc. are and I haven't found my podcast titles as songs or artist names in SYNC. If anyone knows how to play podcasts on SYNC, I'd appreciate info! Thank you.
