  1. old thread but they were sold before i could get there to buy them... but... i found some other ones... here is what i gathered as the info on the wheels

Rim Structure: One Piece Rim Width: 8

Offset: 39 Number of Bolts: 5

    Rim Diameter: 20

im not 100 percent sure if these will work.. if the offset is incorrect is it safe for me to get some small spacers?

from what i have gathered the offset on the OEM wheel sis 45. if i go with a 39 off set does that just mean that they will stick out a lil bit more?

  2. It must have not provided any pep or improvement in mpg. Most of the air intake kits I have been exposed to, only make more noise under kick it acceleration.

I would give it a chance, but if mom has spoken??

honestly i couldnt tell a hp increase on just the intake because i also installed a custom tune with my X3 at the same time... the intake gives out a lil droan under load at about 1800 rpm.... it sounds really good when i have my foot into it but... wife said it has to go so it has to go lol... just means ill be able to buy something else now

  3. Hey guys i bought a full K&N intake for my 2010 edge but the wife doesn't like the added noise... so it has to go.... has about 400 miles on it... asking for 200 shipped (anywhere in the lower 48 states)

ill get some pictures of it later today

  4. Heres the thing, changing to the Sport lights won't really do much for the looks becasue you still ahve all that headlight reflector. Painting the reflectors, if one could do a good job, would look ok as long as you never drive at night as you wouldn't have hardly anylight output. Now if you wanted to get trick you would have to do a projector retrofit that way you would have the dark lights that you are looking for and also have light output but seriously you picked the wrong color vehicle to "murder out". Your would look sharp with tinted windows, lowered and some nice polished or chrome 20's on it adn get rid of the web address you have stenciled on the side

to each their own... i actually like the two tone effect. most of my trucks are all white with everything else black and it looks good. The edge is silver and i like the two tone with all the chrome black but thats just me....

  5. Ok guys i installed a K&N intake on my 2010 edge and now i have a ticking noise.... im not sure if i had it before the install because i never had the hood open with the engine on...

i cant hear the ticking noise from inside the car while driving but i can def hear it with the hood open...

do you think this will go away or hurt the engine?

i also have a SCT X3 with custom tunes for 91 octane installed

  6. I think it looks great. How many coats is that?

More coats will smooth out the finish.

thats about 4 coats... almost a full can... i would say 50% of it is smooth but there are a few sports that got rough... almost like if the can nozzle got clogged....

  7. Couldn't you open the stock headlight up and plasti dip the inside? At the same time remove the reflector.

yes.... i have done it before but man what a PITA it is to do.. were talking about around a 8 hour process for 2 headlights...

its not worth it to me to have to do some again.. i havent heard of this aftermarket company in the link before so im not sure how good of a quality they are...

  8. so i went and bought some to do my grill and wheels... im not 100% satisfied with the finish... i have only done my grill so far to test it out and i thought it would come out smoother... it has a grainy look to it.

not sure if it was me that made it look this way but i have painted many grills and cars before but with actual paint....

    before IMG-20110804-00026.jpg

    after IMG_0438.jpg

  9. im reallly thinking of doing this to my wheels... i was going to get some nice black 20's but just found out i have another kid on the way so that went out the door...

my only worry is that it will start peeling off after have the car washed...

  10. The included files will allow for the basics:

    -battery voltage

    -ect

    -iat

    -fuel pump duty cycle

    -pressure drop across injectors

    -load

-fuel trims (short and long term)

    -maf counts

    -spark

    -throttle position

    -vehicle speed

You can also use our livelink software (which is free) to create your own file to log many more items.

im shocked that you cant monitor trans temp...

  11. The TSX works perfectly fine on the Edge but there are a few things to consider:

-All of our devices (X3, Livewire) will also monitor the vehicle in real time. The only difference is the screen and not having a cable with the TSX.

-The screen portion of the TSX uses a battery that will need to be recharged so if you do mount it, keep that in mind. We do include a usb charger that could be hard wired.

do you know what can be viewed through the TSX.. debating on that or the edge CTS...

  12. I know most of the people that are tuning their Edge are using a SCT X3 or SF3... now i was wondering if anyone has used the TSX and if so how do they like it?

i have always liked being able to read all my temperatures in real time... thats why im thinking of getting one but hate having to suction cup it to the windshield...

so im thinking of making a custom en-closer that would fit in that small section right above the radio on the dash... i never use it and i feel it would look pretty good there ....

    what do you guys think?s
