Anyone know when they are going to release it? Or is it already out? How exactly will it work? Still waiting. Getting impatient for something so easy to implement.

Hey guys, I got my EDGE 2011 and I've been loving my speaker system but I haven't been able to find out the stock specifications on the sound system for the SEL. My middle console doesn't have the black finish with the sony branding I've been seeing on Ford stock photos. Seeing that, I don't believe they are sony speakers. I've looked through the manual and certain 2011 SEL full car specifications on the Ford site but no dice. Do all stock speakers for the SEL's come with sonys? Can anyone help me prove my theory?

Can anyone tell me the specifications on the stock speakers on the EDGE SEL? I've been searching everywhere but its only for the Sony stock speakers. I don't have the black middle console with sony on it so I don't believe my system is a sony. Manual is no help either.

They sound great to me and I don't expect to swap for aftermarket audio.

I bought my 2011 edge about 2 weeks ago and I'm kinda bummed that theres no sign of a stereo audio jack to hook up my Ipod or zune into. I do realize that using the apple ipod cable thru the USB port connects to some of my apple devices somewhat works, but a LOT of devices can't play off of USB.

I get a component AV in jack, USB ports, SD card reader, and bluetooth, but no simple audio input jack. Anyone else bothered by this?

Plus with all the MFT issues my Iphone doesnt pair nicely, which the simple way around is an audio jack.

Unless they put it in some stupid place I can't find, I do believe it should be in the middle console next to the others.

Hows the law regarding license plates on the front bumper? Can I remove it entirely or do I have to move it to the dashboard like some people do?

Yeah. With the dealerships plastic hulking license plate holder its kinda becoming an eyesore. NEW PROJECT!
