I just got off the phone with my sales person and she told me that her technician onsite would not be able to activate Navigation if I come in with an SD card. So I either have a technitician that is unwilling or does not know how to program this. I already have an older Tom Tom unit that I use occassionally, but was just hoping for the convenience of having a unit in the dash. I will stay patient and hopefully this will be in a future software patch.Thanks for all the answers and advice!

That is interesting. So I would have to buy this SD card somewhere then find someone who is far more intelligent then myself to get it hooked up. Doesn't sound like something I want to mess with 1 week in :wacko:

Hi All, Does anyone know where to purchase a seat cover for the 2011 Edge SEL? I am only interested in a back seat cover. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate, but I have a dog that sheds terribly and would like to save the material. Thanks!

Thank you for that feedback. I guess I did not ask enough questions about the GPS when buying the car, or my sales person was not educated about how to get GPS. This is something I definitely would've added. I read some articles online stating that you can buy the SD card to enable the Navigation for $795? Does this seem accurate, or what you're saying is that GPS Nav is not something that can be added to the vehicle afteryou purchase it. Thanks!!

Hi All, I just picked up my 2011 Ford Edge on Wednesday December 15th. We bought the SEL edition with MFT. My wife and I absolutely love the car. I have been following some of the MFT issues and so far we have not encountered any in the 5 days we have had the car. The only thing that we are dissappointed in is the lack of GPS Navigation in the unit. Does anyone know if this will be available in future releases? My wife and I aren't super techy, so that could be why we haven't encountered any problems. We have both paired our Blackberries without any issues.
