Now I have $1,500 in rebates plus 750 more with the coupon. This on top of X plan pricing!!!

Now if I can get a good price on my trade...

My salesman phoned today and said that the Edge LTD is coming during the week of February 14 (ordered Dec 20). He will phone back with the VIN.

I too have an Edge on order and while searching I found this inoformation on a leasing company's website

2011 Ford Edge 12-14 (A) Edge Sport (K3A, K4A) may increase lead time by 4 weeks or more

They are estimating 12-14 weeks but my dealer is telling me 10-12.

I was wondering how good an estimate this is? Any thoughts?

I really like the looks myself but my wife picked the Edge and she will be the primary dirver.

I have seen alot of different things on the itming of VIN numbers. I want to followup with the dealer to see if I have a VIN number assigned yet but don"t want to be an unreasonable pest. Is two weeks too soon to expect a VIN?

I will post picture as soon as it arrives. It has only been a week since I placed the order and I am impatient already.

I never had to order a car before but for once I can get everything the way I want it. We had the dealer look for something close but no luck. I guess the fact we wanted a well equipped limit without a sun roof made it unusual. My last two cars had them and we never opened them, My wife suffers from migraines so having the glass roof is not a good idea. It's funny we had a convertible mustang for 7 years but now we don't even want a sunroof - must be getting old

Just wanted to day hello to everyone. I ordered a new edge Limited AWD for my wife on the 1st. While researching the Edge this forum has very valuable. I hoope my new Edge gets the latest Sync software so I can avoid the issues some have seen.

After hitting two deer in less than 6 months my wife named her Milan "Christine" and swears it is out for blood. She wanted a car that had a higher seating position and really liked the way the Edge drives. We couldn't find anything on the dealer lot with the options we wanted so we had to order one. (couldn't find any deer repellent option either) :yup:
