I installed the new MyFordTouch update last week. It does wonders for the overall reponsiveness and navigating the system.

My gripe is that I had flawless text messaging (incoming and sending) for about three days after the upgrade.

Now it does work at all. I have rebooted, unpaired, reverse paired, etc. and can't get it back. My Ford dealership is clueless as to why.

Any ideas on what to do to get it back??

Tethering cost money on many phones. If you tether thru the Sync system it is free.

Straight tethering with sprint is fairly expensive.

From what I am reading. the better mileage is bull.

More Ford hype to get you to buy the car.

Its a known fact that Ford Duratec engines get better mpg after 5K or so miles (YMMV). I've experienced it firsthand and have heard it from many others. It's not a myth although it certainly doesn't apply to all vehicles or all engines.

I think Ford's advertisement of this feature is a little misleading - no take that back - a lot misleading. The compatible phone list only shows 3 'never been heard of phones' that have this capability. Why not the more popular phones like iphone and blackberry. What's missing here? Who needs to pick up the gauntlet on this one. The phone carriers? If so, as cutting edge as they are, why haven't they?

i agree. And most find all this only after they have purchased the car.
