Hi guys, new here and just had a question. I know most of these questions have been asked a million times but its driving me crazy to go back and forth between all the threads to get answers, then I forget what I previously read and have to go back and find it, so I was hoping to have my questions answered in one spot. Here are my questions, first with a little background. I need to swap out my 2011 edge sport wheels (22") for a new winter set up.
a) Everywhere I go im told that they do not make a steel 17" wheel option for my edge. Is this true, because Ive seen people on this site with them on there same year edges.
b.) I found a pair of 20" 2008 limited wheels for a real good price but have read here that the center bore is different and will not work. Is there a safe way to make this work without machining out the wheel any further??
c.) can anyone tell me what other OEM ford wheels will for on the 2011 edge. Ive seen people use Flex wheels, and mustang wheels, but didnt know if they truly swap out easily or if there was additional work that needed to be done, and also what other wheels may fit (explorer, escape, ranger???)
Help with these questions and any additional info to help, as well as any issues people may have ran into, would greatly be appreciated
