I just ordered the magnaflow duals from amazon. Pretty stoked about putting those on. Im set on making it a "true dual" one of these days if someone is willing to mess with the cats.

I wish my parents would pay for my school. I have to work everyday to pay for tuition. Whatever.

What I was thinking was buying a Sport exhaust (true duals) and swapping out the cats and the mufflers for a magnaflow cat (2x) and Borla mufflers (2x).

That looks great. Was it hard to get the Ford Sign out or did you leave it on and Paint over it.

I took the grille off to put HID's in and the hardest part was prying the sucker off the grille itself. Once thats off, i took the emblem, plastidipped it, put the sticker on, and clear coated it. The same with the back emblem as well. Its fun when you have a week off and have nothing to do.

I did the Batman logo to mine. Seeing the blue thing wasnt kosher for me. We also painted the strips in the grille black too. Pretty sweet.

The hard part was taking the bumper off. I took out the light housing and mounted the ballast on the side, and I used the mounting bracket to hold it in place. Of course I had halogens and hated the yellow light, but i like it 10X better now that my whole care looks like a moving LED bulb.

Spare parts anyone?

We just put in Rockford Fosgate P3 12's in my edge, powered by an MTX amp. I'm content. The RE-Q5 was a little biznatch to deal with, but whatever.

I ordered the one from the '09 model. Even though it is a little "cheap" looking, it does the job perfectly well. I hardly drive my Edge, but when I do, I don't want the little neighborhood gangsters to know I have Rockford 12's beating their momma's Lexus and BMW's.

Get an RE-Q5. That will take care of the whole issue.

I ordered the Mini antenna and I like the way it is on the Edge. It looks better and reception isn't as drowned out, and my Edge has been sitting in the garage for months. So wait 'til she hits the street.

I had a lifetime deal from XM when I had my Saturn, but when I wrecked that and bought the Ford, I transferred my XM plan to the SiriusXM plan in the car. Few battles with headquarters, but nevertheless, got my money back. Only paid about 480 for mine,

Okay, currently I have halogens installed in my Edge, but after installing the HID 880 fog flight on my S-10 this past week, I want the upgrade to the HID on the Edge.So I've been reading about the retrofit and all that jazz, and the thing that is stopping me is that the projector i have installed now is for the halogens and not HID. This is the last thing lighting wise which I have yet to replace. All my lights on the inside are LED and outside as well. What would be your suggestions and/or ideas to make the upgrade? Also, I am kind of a tight-wad and adore shopping with Amazon-Prime. They have kits up there for Maxima's and BMW's and would like to see if they are fitting to my upgrade. Hope to hear from someone soon.

They didnt have the grill listed on the site, did you contact them about the grill?

And the remote is coming directly from Fuse 35 or is it in the DSP Module? I was reading online and the wiring manual and there is no remote indicated. Also Dingo, did you tap into Before the DSP Module for the RE-Q5 and then after the module add the wires coming from the amp to the speakers? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm trying to get a wide sense of an Idea for this install.

I know this may seem like a stupid question, but I have a 2011 limited, and everything seems to come from the Audio Digital Processing Module in the back by the subwoofer, but im looking to take out the sub and put in 2 rockford 12's. How are you all wiring this? Also, I have a RE-Q5, so I'm a little fuzzy on that. Where are you all wiring the RE-Q5? In the front at the head unit or the back by the Digital Processing module?

So here's the scoop, I have 6 MB Quartz speakers going into my Limited '11, and I want to get the best input from you guys who have wired your cars on how you wired your speakers to the amp. I also have the RE-Q5 and I want to know the location where you put that bundle of joy at. I also have two Rockford 12's being powered by an MTX amp, a four channel Rockford Prime amp powering my front four MB's and my back MB speakers will be powered by a two channel Rockford amp.

I have a Limited and I Want to upgrade my exhaust, any suggestions?

I'm Planning on adding three amplifiers to my Limited, I have the MTX QE-5 or whatever that thing is and also I have the wiring for the amplifiers too. All i need to do is find a factory service book and how to dismantle the trim to get into the head unit. I have three sets of 6 1/2 " component sets to go on the doors and in the back where the speakers set behind the passengers heads.

What year do you have? I am getting a 2011 SEL next week and already have 6 61/2 inch components with three amps.
