what is your average MPG?

What are you averaging city and hwy?

Another guy posted a similar question on another thread, and I was hoping to see what everyone is averaging...

I'm from Quebec, Canada and i have my Edge since january 11th.

The average MPG is around of 15 litres/100 km.

this average included all conditions of roading, highway, town, and all conditions of temperature.

It's not very good but i love it so much.

I wish to send my thanks and to congratulate all the folks at the Oakville plant. I picked my carbon SEL plus w/ BAMR tonight. It is fantastic! The look, feel, fit and finish just make you feel like you are in a high quality vehicle. This is the kind of vehicle Ford should be having you make. NO MORE BORING BOXES and BLOBS (five-hundred).

 

My wifes comment was that the leather interior with the contrast stitching looked, smelled and felt like an expensive handbag. Coming from her, that's a huge compliment. (she's had some REALLY expensive bags)

 

Another kudos to whoever decided to put the customer's name on the sticker for ordered vehicles. This used to happen back in the 90's, I think it personalizes the transaction and creates a feel like you folks built the vehicle just for us.

 

Take a moment to pat each other on the back, keep up the good work. I know there are a lot of anxious people awaiting their Edge.

Yesterday i had pick up my new EDGE to my dealer, a beautifull EDGE blazing copper SEL TI, wowwwww

it's a fantastic car, i'm very very impressionned.

After 3 months waiting ! it's a gift.

All is better what i wished.

If you know your vin number post it because a couple of the people on the board can check it from within ford which is different than what the dealers have access to. My SEL said "AT GATE" and my SE said "IN STORAGE" within the ford internal system. However at the dealership BOTH OF THEM STILL SAY "IN STORAGE" even though the SEL arrived yesterday. But, keep your thoughts positive because my understanding is that neither of the systems are REAL TIME so the info might be wrong and your car might be a truck to your dealership.

 

I drove it last night and pick it up today. Either way I think you'll be happy with your new Edge. I am. However, I was and still am a little frustrated with how the communication went between Ford and the Consumers on where and when our cars will arrive. So, my excitement to have my edge back in August when I ordered it and November when I was suppose to get it isn't there anymore. You could practically give me a Minivan at this point and I would be equally excited. I'm hopping that changes as of tonight. Still a very beautiful vehicle. Drove great and very quiet. I sure hope those brakes work good.

The consumer's service said the mid of january maximum.

You would need the whole VIN# for it to work. I am laid off until 1/02/07, not sure if I will be around the plant to check, if you want you can PM me with the whole VIN if you don't want to post it. Then if I'm around work I could stop in and look it up for you, otherwise I would see if there is someone else on this site that is working tommorrow or over shutdown to look it up for you.

Bummer. I guess I haven't been disappointed because I have no expectations of delivery date, and haven't been promised anything by my dealer. He's been up front and told me there are issues with delivery dates. That and I don't have a lease or anything that can't make me wait.

J'ai passé ma commande pour le EDGE en août dernier.

Le véhicule est supposément dans une cour d'entreposage prêt à être livrer.

À Détroit une représentante de Ford m'a dit mardi dernier que c'était une question de quelques jours puisque mon véhicule était relâché de l'usine et confié à une compagnie de transport devant livrer mon véh. directement chez mon concessionnaire.

Ça fait 3x qu'on me donne une date de livraison et aucune de ces dates n'a été respecté.

27 novembre, 5 décembre et le 15 décembre.

Y a-t-il quelqu'un qui sait quelque chose ?

J'espère juste recevoir mon EDGE comme cadeau pour Noël !

I just heard from my Ford dealer. They are shipping December builds but those of us with November builds have to wait until vehicles can be gone over and re-checked. Supposed delivery late December, early January but no selling date from Ford yet. Has anyone seen or heard any reports of actual physical delivery to a customer???? I am so choked right now. For a company losing 10Million a day this explains a lot. No customer service with loaners or deals with the rental companies they supply.

Hi !

I'm a new member of the Edge forum.

First, excuse my bad english writing because i'm from Québec and i don't speak english very well.

Second, i have command a new Edge since 3 months and i have a serial number since 2 months.

I have called at consumer support at FORD AOKVILLE this morning and they confirm to me what my Edge is shipped since 1 week about. i'm not sure if it's real.

Anyone say it's real ?

Can you confirm the delivery is on.

I' m very excited to receive this car.

i'm waiting since 2 months and i have sold my last vehicule the 8th november.
