hey guys so unfortunately my power steering line has rusted out and finally got a hole small enough to leak. Its quite a stupid design, the location that rusted runs beside the oil pan and is wrapped in aluminum. The problem is water builds up inside and sits there eating away at the metal hose.

Long story short does anyone have a digram or how to guide on changing this hose? it looks like the one in link attached

i have this same issue, i was looking at replacing the actual keypad, most likley crappy build quality made it die faster, but if its a common problem there could be more to it

just figure id ask too lol, are they available still?

just wanted to update on the problem! I haven't touched it because its been way to cold here to do so, but this week temperature shot up to some nice warm weather and no problem! im assuming its relay at this point i'll be changing it and updating!

sounds like a dumb question but is your bulb out?

 

it did this to me just the other day. brake lights worked, but the other filiment was burnt out and i had rapid turn signal speed. indicating an out buib. just a thought maybe toss in a new bulb.

i tried that but still the odd signal speed. its weird because when the vehicles off its fine, and im not sure if its just me...but when the weathers in the positive temperatures...it doesnt do it. Makes the situation even more strange

smleckemby they are not LEDs l; it's just the dual bulbs that are in the 2011 housing that's for the replies though

yes it is drawing more power because its changed from a single rear bulb to two rear bulbs now, but the pattern in flashing is whats weird and the fact that when the vehicle is off it flashes fine? but i will try the new relay and see how it works - any idea on pricing?

So first off I'm new to te forum! But it looks like people get positive results, anyway my problem!

I bought the 2011 tail lights for my 07 edge - before I continue you must know it is NOT set up with the amber signal. Wanted to set it up with two reverse lights in the center and dual signals a the side, so at night just the sides would flash. Anyway I set it up and it worked great! Both left and right sides were flashing regularly for about 2 days - after that It flashes fast 2-3 times then regular 2 times then fast, seems to do it in a pattern. Anyway the weird thing about it is once I turn Off the vehicle the flash goes to normal :s it's only when it's running! Any ideas? Ill post a few picture of how it looks and possibly a video of I can lol thanks for any response!

hey first off im new to the forms but i know its a great place for information!

So the problem im having, i have a 2007 Edge SEL great truck! but i saw, and had to get...the illuminated door sills! so i ordered from the ford super center...has anyone ever ordered through them? how reliable are they for u?

Anyway they sent me a set of these sills and i went straight to installing them, i put the passangers side in no problem but when i went to put the drivers side in there were no clips to lock onto the frame i emailed the guy at the center he had a new set shipped, but yet again it was missing the clip. There had to be some explination so i googled the barcode number on the sills and it comes up as a 2011 edge door sill.

Does anyone know what models work on what years? i hear the 2007 edge sills will fit from 2007 to 2010 but NOT 2011+ is this correct? because i ordered them as 2008 edge sills so its completly off that its 2011 door sills but it would be great to know what fits on what.
