Sweet looking Edge....and explorer too!

I have a 2011 Explorer Limited and think I may get myself a new Edge Sport this summer (or maybe wait till the 2017 model). Can you comment on the space inside on the Edge compared to the Explorer? Is it close as far as the baggage you can haul in the cargo area? I know the Explorer is bigger but is there a large difference, looks close to me.

I started coming here not too long ago because I am contemplating the purchase of a 2016 or 2017 Edge Sport. I like to be informed of any issues and positive comments from those who have the vehicle. I really hope it can be changed back so it is useful for my needs. I currently have a Ford Explorer 2011 and belong to the Explorer Forum (Serious Explorations) which has worked well for me for yrs. They have put all the same generation together in one forum (2011-current) and the older models have a separate forum. Would make sense here to bring back the old method for the Gen 2 models (2015+) only.

Hopefully this will work for me one day again, right now it is too divided for me to even know what to look at.....sigh.

I currently own a 2011 Ford Explorer Limited. I plan on ordering a 2016 Edge Sport in the summer of 2016. I may just wait though and order the 2017 if it is due soon after that. It will be my retirement gift to myself!
