Recently my ABS / Traction Control / and wrengh light came on. Took it to the dealer the following day, as the traction control was coming on at low speeds for no apparent reason - a little unsettling to say the least. Apparently, a wheel sensor is bad. Replacement parts have to be ordered. One really good thing to say about my car... I brought the car home from the dealer just in time for a 12 inch snowfall this weekend in upstate ny.. this thing carved beautiful through some deep snow!

I have 2008 MKX with about 1300 miles on it so far. I've been noticing a burning smell that seems to be the same as what everyone is describing. It seems to go away after a few minutes but it is quite noticable especially after starting the engine in cold weather. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

I have also noticed a strange smell with my 08 AWD Edge. The car has 2300 miles on it, and I've only noticed it 3 or 4 times. Each time has been when I was stopped at a light. Once I get back going the smell goes away.. Next light I'm stuck at, smell is gone - very peculiar. I live in upstate NY and it has been very cold here recently...... I haven't payed enough attention to figure if there's a correlation of smell when the car is cold or has warmed up. I was suprised to stumble upon this post just now, it's not only me! I'll pay a little more attention now!

Actually, I just got an 08 Focus, and a new Zune, and I'm getting the exact same issue. Only a few min. down the road it will just cut out. Little upset myself considering I just got a job with Ford, and was pretty excited to find out what Sync was all about, only to have a problem right off the bat. I haven't even had the car for a week. Where are you guys posting the problems, so they know the Zune has them too? I'm having a problem with my phone as well, anyone know why sync may not recognize multiple numbers for the same contact? It will only call on "other" even tough there are cell, home, and or work numbers stored for someone in my phone book.

 

So far this is the only place I've found even talking about sync problems...

I have had the same USB disconnected problem with my Zune.. The issue can't be cables, or the mp3 manufacturer with so many issues. It is possible to play your tunes from your player just using an auxilary cable, but you'll lose the control the Sync system provides.
