  1. I have a hood Protector from the Ford dealer installed when I picked up my 2012 Blue Edge, looks great and I really don't get many bugs on my windshield. The hood has a sharp slope and deflects most bugs. I have lost a few bug deflectors in the past due to car wash driers. The hood protector mounts directly to the hood with 2 sided tape

  2. I really like the wood grain look, has anyone installed the 20 piece wood grain set into their vehicle? Could someone PLEASE post some pics. Would like to see what the inside of the Edge looks like. I have a 2012 SE and the silver and black dash is a little drab. Wood grain pics PLEASE!

    Thank You!

  3. Well I watched the video about the wheel wells and checked things out, and can lay to rest the wondering. I am an electronics tech so I know what to look for. On a 2012 Edge SE, there is NO wiring & connectors for the vertical lights. I also looked at the harnesses in the local areas and could not find the connectors taped out of the way or hidden. Bummer!!! Ok time to look at Cellbiries post. Thanks!!!

  4. Hello everyone! I had a Dodge quad cab that I traded in for a 2012 Edge SE. Wasn't driving the truck much due to gas prices and got only about 11 or 12 mpg. LOVE the Edge, though it doesn't have the carrying ability of the truck.

Ok I thought get a trailer, I had installed a CURT cat II hitch, no cutting into plastic needed! I came across a 5 x 10 trailer with taller sides, very well built. Weighs about 700 pounds. Figured wood comes in 10 ft lengths I could move some with it, high sides to keep more camping stuff from falling out. I could go on and on what to do with trailer.

With no towing package installed How much weight can I put into the trailer without overtaxing the vehicle. I can only guess the more people or cargo inside the less in the trailer, is that a direct movement of weight? One pound in car means one less pound in trailer?

Any and all answers are most welcomed

    Thank You.
