Before I call dealership, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. On insturment panel, right in center, behind steering wheel, not the radio screen, the information screen (if that's what it's called) stays blue with mileage shown after ignition is turned off. Noticed after I return to garage later that night and noticed a blue glow from edge. It never did go out, left for a couple days, and the only way to stop was to restart vehicle. ANY IDEAS.. Noticed after driving my 2013 Ford Edge SEL, I noticed that after returning to the Edge, after being parked in garage for awhile, that the screen (information display) between the speedometer and tach was blue, and it had the mileage displayed at bottom. Thinking that the "battery saver" would cancel it out soon, I waited til later to check if it was still blue, Or this was what the service tech at Ford dealership told me,, but after several hour and even almost 24 hours later, it is still blue with mileage displayed at bottom....

Any suggestions/comments???? If it stays blue,, I'll just have to take it back to Ford dealership,,, just a hassle though............

I am in Maryville (just south of Knoxville). I know i can do 250 each. Might be able to do a little better. That doesn't include shipping.

Hahah yea not too many people know the area unless they've been around here their whole life or live out here, lol. Pretty much, get off I-40 at exit 86 (NC226 Marion) and go south on 226 towards Shelby for about 18 miles until you get to a yellow flashing light, make a right and I'm about 2 miles down the road (on the way to Forest City). I come out to Hickory every week though... my 3 dogs are in training classes at the PetSmart there off exit 125 next to the Home Depot. And I gotta go to the Chic-Fil-A too, LOL

Middle of nowhere NC here, lol..... pretty much right in the middle between Asheville and Hickory, just south of Marion if anybody knows where that's at. Def out in the boonies though

Also, if you just add a reciever, you should only tow 2000 pounds, but with tow package, as Haz mentioned, I believe the dealer told me I could tow up to 3500 pounds. Safe Towing

Narrowed down to 13 Jeep GC Laredo X and 13 Ford Edge SEL. Jeep also increased incentive from 500 to 1000 today.

 

Any rational to go with one not the other?

I too looked at both, and after taking a test drive in the Jeep, I decided to go with the Edge, smoother ride, more leg room, more stylish not like riding in a box....

have ACCRA runningbords for 2013 Ford Edge SEL. I ve two questions.

1. Will it void my new cae warranty if I remove the rock guards to make installation simpler?

2. Has anyone done this install themselves. The directions are scetchy and was thinking I might just have to let mechanic do the job.

Hey Cd, looking at some pics, I notice your Edge has what looks like different rocker panels/trim. My SEL does not, I guess it comes on the Sport.. Any suggestions about an add-on to my Edge to get that look/actually to help protect lower panels from gravel/stone that my new tires pick up from road we live on, all is OK til I hit the main road, and I sling gravel for miles.. Also added a new post in the Body trim forum on this issue... Thanks for any help...

Sorry if there is a thread already on this, but I searched/looked but could not fine the info I needed, so here we go. I noticed in the photo gallery where someone posted some pics of Mike's 2013 Edge Limited AWD, pics 12 and 13 show rocker panels. I live on a gravel road, about 1/2 miles long, and my new Edge picks up alot of gravel along the way. All is good until I hit the main road and I sling gravel for miles. Looking to add rocker panel with intergrated mud flaps to help with this problem. Any suggestions???

Did not know about this,,,but I was told by my saleman to go to FORD. com to request a broshure on the 2013 Edge we ordered. When it came, we also recieved the private cash for $750......Took it to dealership when Edge arrived...NO PROBLEMS AT ALL....Another $750 off,,,,,,,Thanks FORD!!!!

No upgrades, all stock from factory....so I'm not sure about suspension. Michelin tires (nitrogen filled) P245/60 on 18" wheels. Seemed to handle the Parkway curves very well, considering traffic was heavy, due to peak leaf season, plus my wife keep telling me to SLOW down, she wanted to see the beautiful colors....I did catch myself wishing I was on my Harley though....

Hey Sportedge and CD,, can you guys post at the other forum in South Atlantic @ SPRING RALLY, I have been trying to keep track of people who maybe interested in a spring rally,Oh YAAAA,, I took delivery of my 2013 dge SEL TODAY,,,,,,,YAAAHOOO,, HEADING TO BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY THIS SATURDAY to see how well this Edge handles.... I have placed my order on 2013 Edge Limited with a dealer here in Michigan on Oct'12. The dealer told me that the vehicle can be expected to be delivered by Mid Nov but reading what other people are saying on this thread worries me. If someone received their vehicle can you please post as how many weeks it took for them to receive their Edge.

I ordered my Edge SEL on August 31th, and I got TODAY---YAAAHOOOO, so let's see, if my math is right, 30 days in Sept+18days to today in October, so that is 48 days. So 48 days divided by 7 days in a week=almost 7 weeks, my dealer had told me that it could be 6-8weeks, so he was pretty dang close on his ETA.

I ordered my 2013 Edge on Aug 31, and was told by the dealer on Sept. 14th that it was scheduled to be built on Sept. 24, then delivery should be week of Oct. 8th,, have not call dealer yet to see if it was built and ready for delivery,, but will call Monday,, hoping all is still on schedule.

Called today and was told, delayed a week, now should be delivered the week of the 15th,,, OH WELL,, was hoping it would arrive in time for wife's birthday,, but that is the 7th,,,I guess I'll try to find a toy that looks just like the one ordered and tell her Happy Birthday :xlbirthday:

I also ordered a new 2013 edge Aug 3rd. I contacted the dealer whom I ordered it from 2 weeks ago. He said they had just halted building edges just when I ordered mine and were working on another Ford product but that the edges should be coming back up for production soon. I have heard nothing. I was originally told 6-12 wks and I am sitting at 8 wks today and not even a build date. I do live up in "Tim-buck-two" here in the US of A, so wondering if that has anything to do with it or is Ford not keeping up with demand? I talked with a friend of mine who said it took her 4 months to get her new Taurus a couple yrs ago. I have my Vehicle order confirmation sheet with order number, priority number, dealer number, order type and price level provided by the dealership the day I ordered it. Anyone know how long it normally takes or if I can somehow check myself? I don't want to be a pest to the dealership as I am sure if they had an update they would call me.
