I was driving my wifes 07 Edge last night and I noticed that the interior blower fan was making noise. I believe it is the motor on the passanger side. Does anyone know how to replace the motor? Does this require pulling the dash? Thanks for any info.

Had the same thing happen to my edge. I took it to ford and it was right around $385. I drove on mine for a month or so. I wouldn't recommend any road trips till you get it fixed.

The second one is a bit pricey. For $600 I put a nice Kenwood gps unit in mine.

Yep its the ptu. $378 repair from ford. Not to bad. I was expecting a lot more.

I noticed a splatter pattern on the floor of my garage today when I pulled my Edge out to do my wife's oil change on her car. I just did an oil change about 2000 Miles ago on the edge and didn't notice anything odd on the ground then. I check both oil and transmission fluid levels and both are right where they should be. Here are some picture I took to see if anyone here could help. The location is right up front under the engine/transmission.

I would stay away from springs on ebay. Lots of knock offs which if manufactured incorrectly can be very dangerous. I've learn in my years of molding just pay the bit extra so it's done right the first time.

Selling my K&N Intake. I've only had it since November 2012. I love the intake but I'm trying to save up to buy a Ford Focus ST. The Edge will go to my wife. Everything picture plus I believe the instructions are included. All mounting hardware I believe is accounted for. MAF screws are screwed into the intake to prevent them from being lost. With tinting this it isn't that the brake lights don't show up well its the reflectors. With out vivible reflectors in most states it is illegal. I did a light coat on my focus that dimmed the red just a bit but left the reflectors for the most part in tact. So if you feel you have to have it done do not go super dark.

Retaining nut? Are you talking about the large one in the center of your rotor? If so you don't remove that. That hold the knuckle to your front axle. Pics would be awsome.

Talked to the body shop that repaired my focus after being rear ended. $460. Most of that is labor. However to repaint the entire car is $4-6k. So I have till summer to fix it. That's pretty much what the guy said. The winter won't hurt it to bad.

I noticed right by my roof rack I am missing clear coat. Any one have a good idea on how to fix this?

Here is the thing. Fully synthetic can go up to 10,000 miles. However the filter can only go 5,000. So I recommend going with the filter life verses the oil life.

Well its installed. I did most of the K&N intake prep work inside where it was nice and warm. The install went smooth. Hardest part was getting the rubber around the heat shield. I love the new sound. Sounds sporty now. A bit more responsive. I'm sure it will become alot more it I ever get her tuned. Maybe I can talk my wife into buying the Xcal3 tuner for my birthday in January. Lots of luck there.

I would get the codes read. Sounds similar to when my steering position sensor was going out. If that's the same case I have a right up here that will tell you how to replace it.
