I just bought a 2012 Edge Limited and so far I'm loving it. I'm just having a couple issues.

 

My phone connects fine; no problems there. But when I try to use the bluetooth audio it does not work. I select my phone on the entertainment screen and the display changes, but the audio does not. It continues to play whatever was previously selected. I tried the USB audio as well, and the same thing happened.

 

I'm really confused why it isn't working. Am I missing something obvious?

FORD Edge 2012, I had exactly same problem, I restarted the system by recycling the fuse.

The fuse is located at the driver seat side, jest to the left of your laft leg, near the hood handle, first you remove a small plastic cover, then you have to remove the fuse box cover. the fuse is # 29 found on the second row from left at the bottom.

Soon after recycling, you will see the screen is Re-Starting and every thing worked for me.

My USD and bluthooth connection stopped working. I pulled fuse # 29 , put it back and every thing is fine
