  1. Hi Jim,

welcome to the Edge group ! My husband and I just bought a 2008 edge limited awd vapor silver with sync, navigation, power liftgate and vista roof and it

drives like a dream. I really love this car. We live in Washington state and it handles really great on our rainy wet roads. Haven't had this much fun since I had

a BMW years ago. Once in awhile I let my husband drive it! Enjoy.

  2. Howdy!

I am getting a new car at the end of this month and I am having a hard time making a decision. I am deciding between the 2007 Ford Edge SEL FWD and the 2007 Nissan Murano SL FWD.

I have been comparing the two and I was wondering what information many of yall could provide me with. I like that the Edge has many standard features such as the keyless entry, seat memory settings, and heated seats (not too much of added plus here in Texas..ha ha). But the Murano has adjustable petals (which is nice since I am only 5'1") and a really nice information screen.

After reading reviews and many threads on this forum I am concerend about a few things with the Egde. I have seen many complaints about the gas mileage, wiper system, vista roof, transmission, and more. I was hoping some of my fears could be put to rest so I can finally decide on a car. I am a college student graduating in May so I would like a reliable car so I don't have to pay for too many repairs.

I am excited about being a part of this site and open to all opinions you can give me!!

I am also 5' 1" and just bought a 2008 Edge limited and love it. The seat adjusts 6 ways so I sit up high and reach the pedals just fine, plus the steering wheel also is

adjustable. I absolutely love this car especially the way drives. from ttbear.

  3. I have a FWD so winter tires was a must.

My dealer got me Michelin Latitude Alpin HP (C$250 each) and I had no problem with all the snow we got here in Ontario. I really feel the difference.

Also my ABS and Traction control are both "off" because of a sensor problem and I'm very happy to have these tires.

Just got my Edge Limited AWD in vapor silver 2008 and haven't driven it in snow but in lots of rain as we live in Washington state

and I love this car!!!!!!! From ttbear We just drove it to California and have 1500 miles on it. Got 19.7 mpg. Have only had it since Jan. 6th. Also I really love

the sync, sirius radio, navigation system and power liftgate. We can't say enough about this car. I call it my fun car because it reminds me when my husband had

bought me a BMW 320i many years ago and I loved driving it but have to say I love the Edge even more. It handles like a dream !
