I thought all models have a line in option. The steering controls work perfectly. Do you happen to know what the 3rd connector would be used for? Thanks for your help.

Hey Everyone! New member here. I just purchased a used 2007 Edge SEL Plus and I am having an issue with the Line In. I have looked through all the threads and couldn't find an answer to this specific issue. The original owner told me he had the stock stereo switched out for the 6 disc stock stereo (after pulling the stereo out I found that it is from a 2009 model). The attached image is what is currently installed. So, when I press the AUX button on the stereo, it only switches through SAT1, SAT2, & SAT3. There is not an option for the "Line In" for some reason. I also noticed when I pulled the stereo out that there are 2 input ports on the back of the stereo (other than the antenna port) and there are 3 plugs, of course one of them is not plugged into anything. Can anyone shed some light on what's going on?
