  1. Here's my dilemma, I have a 2013 Edge Sport AWD that I leased in April of 2013. 4 months after that, I got a company car so my Edge has a littler over 4k miles and it's literally sitting in a barn. Someone suggested I list it on SwapALease.com but I'm a little hesitant about that, heard both good and bad things.

I have a 3 year lease with 36,000 total miles but I'm making a payment on something I won't be driving at all.

Any ideas of how/what I should do with this?

  2. Great to hear your install went well and you're liking your new lights. Glad you like the parking light wiring configuration.

FYI, For those that may not know, it is perfectly fine to attach the white DRL trigger wire to the center parking light wire.

Do we just tap into that as well as the headlight or take it off the headlight and connect to parking lot wire?

  3.

Do you mean that you don't get high beam on one side? The shutter in the headlight projector lens is what switches the beam pattern from low beam to high beam (it moves out of the way when you switch to high beam).

The high beam power wire (when power is applied, the shutter moves out of the way) is gray/brown on the left side and purple/orange on the right side. Check that you didn't damage those wires during EDGE 2 installation. Those wires are controlled by solid state circuitry in the Body Control Module (BCM) so if the wires are not damaged, you could be looking at replacing the BCM.

I can't get a solid beam out of the low beam or high beam. I took it to a Ford Service Dept and they said it was the shutter not operating correctly but obviously the shutter only operates on the high beam. I'm beginning to wonder if it is the physical light. At this point, I'm lost. It only has 1,700 miles on it so they're covering it

  4. I just want to say I am more than happy with the new setup and I did have to call Dan this morning about my Edge not starting after the install but then later realized it was my own fault (put the fuse adapter in the wrong slot) but Dan answered the phone, walked me right through it and didn't make me feel like an idiot because boy did I feel like it after we disconnected.
