Thanks akirby. That's the first logical reason I've heard and totally makes sence now as to why you can't. I'm headed to Minneapolis next week (Burnsville actually) to visit my parents and I'm hoping the dealer there or a local lock smith in area can do it a little more resonable than what my dealer wants.

Ok, dumb question. I just got my 2011 Edge (love it) but only got one key as well. I just ordered 2 off of ebay (a FRACTION of what the flip'n dealer wanted @ $250 EACH!!!). My question is, do I still need to have the dealer program at least one of them in order to get it to work?

Just did mine, full sync, Nav etc... worked like a charm. Only thing that bothers me is the vehicle needs to be running for at least 50 minutes. Seems like a big waste of gas and at $6.2955 a gallon here in Canada, it hurts!!

I just purchased the Weatertech Front, Rear and Cargo area mats, pleased as all hell with them. The Beige is a little darker than what appears on the website, but they look slick in side my 2011 with the two tone interior color (have an Earth Metallic finish). Total was about $420 Canadian for all of it (tax included).

I finally found my code, in the fuse box area, but you have to be a real contortionist to get at it and view. It was located way up near the top on the right hand side of the panel. It took a few tries to get it to work, I tried it initially via MFT but found it just easier to do on the key pad itself.
