Your right, they do look pretty close to the 20" Ford wheels in your picture. Hard to say for sure but that may be them.

Hi All,

I like the look of the wheels on the White MKX at the top of the forum pages. At first I thought they were one of the optional 20" MKX wheels but have been unable to find any other pictures with those wheels. Are they OEM wheels or after market?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately mine is an older garage and even shorter than I had thought. I just measured and the lowest point of the door opening is 6'7" and it's 6'11" where the hatch would be opening with the Edge in the garage. Bummer.

I'm looking at getting an 08 Limited but am concerned that I will not be able to open the lift gate inside my garage. From looking at pictures, my best estimate is that the top of the lift gate when opened is about 8ft. With the door open my garage height is only about 7.5 ft. That means I wouldn't be able to load or unload anything from the Edge with it in the garage and it would only be a matter of time until the lift gate gets opened into the garage door, especially with the power lift option.

Anyone else had this problem, or is the lift gate not as high as I think?

Thanks rmwill, gives me some hope of finding one. Did you order your 2008 that way or find it already on a dealer lot?

I tried a bunch of option combinations but could not get Nav without the vista roof. Guess I could get it without nav and have the dealer add it later, which is how I ended up at this thread, but I would rather not go that route. Nothing against those that like the vista roof, it's obviously popular, just don't like the added cost, weight, potential failure points (wind noise, rattles, leaks etc) to have something I won't use. My current car of 9 years has a moon roof that has been opened probably 10 times (including the sun shade).

I am looking at getting an Edge with Nav and have gone through the "build your Edge" steps on the Ford site and it will not let you have Nav without the Vista roof. I do not want the vista roof but do want Nav. Why are those tied together?
