The 2007 Edge AWD means that its ALL WHEEL DRIVE and its always ALL WHEEL DRIVE. The only option available to turn on or off is the Traction Control.

My 07 AWD SEL has a 3.6L V6 and gets 14 city and 20 HWY. That is very near EPA estimates. remember that the EPA ratings are ESTIMATES and they never take a vehicle on the road to get those numbers. There numbers are based on fuel consumption and exhaust data while the vehicle is stationary on a system like they use at the DMV.
Power stays on after turning off engine?

My 2007 Edge XLT SEL has 2 cigarette ports, one on the dash and one in the center console. The one on the dash will power off after the ignition switch is turned off and then the drivers door is opened ( or after 5 minutes of the ignition turning off). The on in the center console is always on.
