I have a 2013 Edge Limited and my driver's side mirror got clipped. The only damage was a small piece of the plastic ring (or trim) broke off. The ring must snap into the mirror housing and acts as a cap for the metal edge of the mirror.
The dealership told me it does not come separately. The mirror (electric, with blind alert) retails at $500 plus labour and installation. I just want the ring and I can install it myself. I would even contact the supplier if I knew who made them.
Ironically, I drive right by the backside of the Oakville, Ontario assembly plant where it was built twice a day on my way to and from work. So close and yet so far...
If any fellow Edgers have suggestions I would be appreciative.
