I have an 2008 ford edge with 126,000 miles on it. Had a transmission lock out at 125.5k miles, just pulled PCM fuse to basically reset it. works fine now. Still original battery. 5th set of tires though. I have continentals on there now. Been on since 68k and still have like 75% tread left. Had a coolant leak at 120k this was a clamp that rusted out. Have a bad valve or lifter tick right now. stll runs and drives great though. On the original brakes as well. (90% of my driving is highway)

I have a K&N intake on it now and Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust.

Ended up ordering Magnaflow exhaust. Summit offered freeshipping and that was the deal maker lol

Hi I am new to the forum looking for some advice on exhaust systems for anyone.

I own a 2008 Ford Edge SEL FWD. I recently installed a K&N intake system I've noticed about a 1.5 mpg-2.0 mpg gain already.

I am wanting to open up the exhaust and get some more sound out of it. The intake has added a low rumble in my engine bay that sounds great and I would like to get a little more sound out.

I've been looking at Magnaflow Cat-back systems, and Gibson Cat-back systems though I cannot find much info on Gibson from other Edge owners.

I was wondering what you guys may recommend buying between those two brands or possibly lead to me towards other brands.

Hi I own an 2008 Ford Edge, Also have this problem. I took my vehicle to Ford and they claim to have never seen it before and basically offered no repair. my sockets are partially melted (replacing soon). I have tried replacing with L.E.D bulbs and they appear much dimmer. I also had a problem with the blinkers blinking faster. I did not invest in any time of retro fit kit? to allow the L.E.D bulbs to work. I just went back to stock bulbs and replacing sockets soon to monitor how long they take to burn up again.
