Beauxyeux

I have a 2011 lincoln mkx. It has the ambient lighting and for some reason the cup holders no longer light up after I had it serviced and the replaced the shifter. Is it possible I'm missing something and I need to turn them on somehow? If not how do I get to the lighting to see if something is disconnected? Thanks
