Thanks for posting Doug.I am also dealing with the same issue. When you get the edge back please post if it fixed the noise.

The heated and cooled seats have lower and upper heat/cool units built into the seat w/blower in both upper and lower cushion. The switch controls both upper and lower cushion. As for my 08 MKX the upper cushion on A/C setting is not as cold as the bottom. Hope this helps.
