  1. I purchased some aftermarket off ebay  and they would  not work.. Don't go there...    The oem is the best bet . Not sure about the wiring.. i would say if the harness and plug is there it would work.. The bumper needs removed which wasn't a big deal after doing it. videos are out there to help you thru it.  Maybe call a dealer and see if the plug is wired back to the body control module and battery junction box?.  As far as finding the oem they are out there online and prices vary greatly.

     good luck

  2. Is there a   drop in "fog light"   available that doesn't require wire  modifications to make them operating..  Does Ford have one in the making with an angel eye or something a bit more interesting than the glow stick they have currently?  I purchased these from ebay because they are really  nice but want to hook them up using my existing pigtail sockets w/o all the other wiring hookups..  unfortunately I believe this is a no go...    The chinese kits have no wiring diagram and almost no tech support

taking the bumper on and off makes this a bit more challenging.

  3. I own a 2015 edge SEL  fwd 3.5l  with a whopping 27,232 miles on it and recently had to have the alternator replaced by a ford  dealer to the tune of   $1381.11...  Evidently the first gen of the edge has to have the cooling compressor removed along with several other obstacles to perform the replacement.   I realize this is way early to loose an alternator and Ford will not allow any warranty on this.   (It sure makes me want to look into another make.)   Any warranty or something out there to help cushion the blow?  The dealer tried selling me an ext. warranty  at the tune of 3g or 113.00  a month on a car I am still making payments on.
