What's the best method of cleaning the CAF?

Turns out it's the cooling fan. I need to see about buying online and what it takes to replace. Dealership wants $1100. to fix.

Yep my wife's had the same thing on her 2010 Edge. It didn't melt, but it was certainly heading in that direction.

My Edge stopped blowing cold air. I purchased a bottle of A/C Pro Cold and attached the nozzle to the low end. The pressure was already in the gauge lines for ambient temp. I noticed the compressor was not on. It started for a moment and then shut off. The directions on the bottle state to empty half the bottle into the line if the compressor is not on, but it also says don't over pressurize, so I'm at a loss. Help.
