I had to write this,
1, You can't vent the Vista roof without fully opening the sun shade.. SUCKS
2. mpg...HORRIBLE..I drive very easy too.
3. Navigation - NO POI's hardly, I had to find a big school in Ann Arbor MI, not there and they are next to a large well known Church - not there either. THEY WERE THERE IN MY CHEAP MIO NAVI - THANK GOD
and the GUI is very confussing, I found several mistakes in screens too. I am a programmer and a developer.
Maybe Ford will read this. If this does not change, this is my last FORD!!!
What are you top 3 gripes.
After six weeks, there's nothing I don't like about my 08 Edge SEL. I decided against the vista roof because I could see it may be problematic. The gas mileage is fine, handling is great, braking is a little rough, but I think that's because its still new and may take some getting used to.

I read another thread about where you see the most Edge(s).
Here in Chicagoland- and with lots of Ford dealers, you see many Taurus (Chicago I believe is the best market). Also lots of Explorers, and Escapes- even some Lincolns and Mercs.
But not too many Edge(y) vehicles. I can go days without seeing an Edge or MKX. Wife spots them quicker than I do.
We just got back from a trip down I80 to Toledo and southeast Michigan and I ran out of fingers and toes counting the Edge(s) on the road.
So- Where is the concentration?? Who has the best sales market for this CUV??
Since I saw my first one last year outside a dealer, they have been popping up all over Long Island. I got mine in white sand 4 weeks ago. Just heading outside to wash it again!

Glad to see so many fans out there. Also happy that Ford expanded the colors available for '08. I got mine in White Sand with Camel interior, roof rails, 18" painted alum. wheels (sharp!). After 3 Explorers I needed a change and the Edge fit the bill. Rock on Edgers!

Nice installation. I especially like the hidden radio - where is your antenna? I am leaning towards corner strobes and the Whelen LED Flatlighter on the windshield.
