  1. Hey all-

My son has a 2010 Ford Edge Limited.  He got a subwoofer and amp that he wasnt to add in.   I had systems in the past in my younger years but that was a long time ago and these car stock systems have changed.
Just clarification- he'll keep his stock headunit so we'll need a rca lineout converter to attach RCAs, (tapping into which two wires on the stock harness?), and remote wire tapped into back of unit as well-  any idea which specific colored wire on this car? Blue I assume?

He just wants a little more bass so nothing too crazy with this system hes adding.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Hey all-

I have a 2010 edge limited. I have a slow leak, and this is where its coming from, in the pics. Can anyone identify this part?

Closer to the passenger side, off center of car. Not far from the oil drain plug. Nothing else has oil on it. I think this leaks mostly under pressure as Ive cleaned it all off and its not dripping right now. I also replaced a few of the zip ties, as two were one but broken. Doesnt seem to be dark enough for engine oil- more of a reddish color.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  3. I did the above and have slight feedback/vibration at 1800rpms.... any ideas of what could be causing this?

Only issue I ran into was getting my rear boots off- had to end up replacing them as they cracked/broke on the way out. Kinda a panic moment on how to get them out but ended up using a hook tool to grab them and bring them out. Easy in the end.

  4. So I wasnt getting any spray out of my nozzles.....check out the connections and both had broken off at the fluid tube at the nozzles under the hood. I think I got most of the broken nozzle pieces out of the tubes. Put new nozzles in, and now Im getting fluid out of the nozzles but they arent making it up onto the windshield.

What do you think the problem is.

A- tubes are clogged? I blew through the ends of them and blew bubbles in the resevoir.

B- pump is dying or not pushing hard enough? Is this an option, that the pump is only half power or is the pump a "it either works or it doesnt"?

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks all
