I currently own a 2011 Edge and I have that the earlier Escapes Edge and Explorers all look like they share the same wheel. My question is would a new style Ford Explorer wheel fit I am really digging the color and they look very similar to my current wheel just a little updated.

pedro2u​ as long as your Edge has the Sony system which has the subwoofer it will work if not then no and you will have to find one similar to your current one and it a direct replacement. Did it to my personal one a few years ago and had to problem changing it over and my 4 way no longer come on until I push the button now.

I did I have a 2011 with the captive button. I searched on Ebay and one with the old school. Mind you I have the Ford My touch system I don't know much about the Sony system. It's simple plug and play no trip to the deals hip and my flashers come on when I want them to come on

Sorrry DougB59 that my photo did not post. I have the panel that has the 2 knobs or the Ford with Mytouch Sync opinion. I don't know much about how the Sony system pane looks like or the other one that is available. Good luck in your quest

jhsimpich. I just brought a used replacement panel that replaces the Captive type button with an Old school button from Ebay. Put this in the Search window FORD EDGE RADIO CONTROL PANEL. All the part number are all the same BT4T-18A302-B that is inprinted on the back of the panel. My came out of a Late 2012 but you can look for a 2013-14 one too.

I just changed my panel from the captive to the old school style. The 2013-14 panel can replace a 2011-12 panel. Questions just reponse

Here another question I been looking at the 2013-14 models and they have the old school button that I have seen online threw pictures. Would one of these fix some of our problem and would there be any issue we may encounter ? Just a thought

I too have experience this same problem as these other member have describe any ideas and help would be nice

Maryland here. 2011 Edge SEL here had it about 6 weeks now and still enjoying it
