  1. Per the vendor of the Vista Roof Panel, do not use lube. System should be dry. Most likely, the panel tracks are too tight. " Open roof and look inside of track. You will see bolts holding track. Just crack bolt,don't loosen off to much. Take a screw driver and lightly tap track over slightly. Tighten bolt repeat on next 3 bolts!"

  2. I member of our facebook group actually works at Oakville Assembly. He spoke directly to the manufacturer of the Vista Roof panel. Its supposed to be a dry system, no grease or lube. " no lube at all. Track must be clean of grit and dry. What you also need to do is check side of track and see if it needs adjusting. Track may be tight and can be loosened and opened up a bit. Open roof and look inside of track. You will see bolts holding track. Just crack bolt,don't loosen off to much. Take a screw driver and lightly tap track over slightly. Tighten bolt repeat on next 3 bolts!"
