No need to reply to original post, I answered my own questions, and replaced the dash over the weekend.

Has anyone replaced complete dashboard in 2011-2013 edge? How do I access the screws that connect a/c ductwork to dash. Does heater assy need to be removed. Also does center shifter console have to be removed to pull dash out. Wasn't frustrated til now. Passenger air bag blew,which requires complete dash removal. Am not hauling to dealer to replace. Any kind of detailed pdf out there?

Any idea why the seatbelts won't retract after drivers and passenger dash air bags blew. I'm confused why they would get loose in an accident and not tighten up to hold you back in the seat.

It is just a thin flap. Bag blew on my 2011. Get to replace entire dash, not just top cover as it would seem.

I'm thinking about buying a ford edge repairable that has front end damage with driver wheel airbag and passenger dash airbag both deployed. I'm wondering what all needs to be replaced, I've done some searching and getting mixed answers and possibly incomplete answers. I guess what I am really questioning is: Should I have the control module replaced or reset as some sites advertise and do I have to just replace the dash cover for the passenger dash airbag or is it deeper than that? I would appreciate any help.
