I hate to sound redundant:
Is there no other option for lowering the Edge/MKX other than the H&R springs or a custom air ride?
Has anyone discovered an adjustable strut replacement from a different application that may work?
Has anyone attempted to simply cut the coils (remove 1/2 to full coil)? Usually a bad option due to heat generated during cutting but that is solved by sinking the spring in water during cut to disperse the heat efficiently.
I want to replace the wheels on my 13 MKX with a set of 22s and drop it 2.5 - 3 full inches for that "hammered" stance just over the tire.
Has anyone discovered an adjustable strut tower brace (possibly triangulated) or an Energy Suspension bushing replacement kit to tighten up the front end?
I have also seen a lot mentioned about replacing an alignment bolt after lowering -- what is the source for this?
New here due to recent purchase after selling GTO.
