  1. I was messing around last night trying to get Waze to work. I only played with it for about 10 minutes, but it seems you can only do CarPlay or Waze its one or the other.

I had to disable CarPlay for it to work and when it did it was buggy and sluggish. I think there are some updates needed before its working perfectly.

When CarPlay is enabled the Mobile App button is grayed out and will not work properly. I wish Apple would just let it run through CarPlay.

  2. Looking at the pictures the scratches are white which is a good sign because it didn't go all the way through the clear coat. It's hard to tell from a picture how severe the scratches are.

If they are not too deep the proper process would be to use find grit sand paper (2000-4000) to level the paint then follow up with a compound/polish. If they are really deep you can make them look better but it won't be worth it to try and get them fully out, too much risk.

  3. Does anyone know if it's possible to use the older style key fob for the 2015-2016 ford edges? I came out of a 2013 lease into a 2016 and I prefer the key I had before.

This one is a lot bigger and isn't very comfortable in my pocket, plus I've had unlock/lock buttons activate by mistake from just being in my pocket and pressure being applied.

  4. Thank you all for your input and suggestions. I was leaning more towards the 21s purely for looks. I plan on getting black paint so with the rims it would be all blacked out.

If I do decide to get them I will definitely look into some tire protection plan as I'm sure they would be very expensive to fix/replace.

  5. Hey guys, I'm going to be placing an order soon for a 2016 edge sport. I plan to test the two wheels but I figured I would get some input from current owners.

I live in New York and we don't have the best roads around here which is why I'm nervous about the 21" wheels. I'm nervous about damaging them hitting potholes etc.

I was thinking of just going for the 20" ones to be safe, plus I'm concerned about ride quality and comfort. Did you guys notice a big difference between the two and do they handle bumbs and road imperfections to the same degree?

I'm currently driving a 2013 Edge limited with 20" wheels for reference, my lease is going to end very soon so I have to make a decision and get my order in.

  6. The 2016 MKX does have the new hardware to support sync 3. I'm still unsure if they will ship with it or not, but if it ships with my Lincoln touch you will be able to upgrade it to sync 3.

I was also worried about not having sync 3 but it does indeed have the new screen and hardware built into it already.
