The 2015 Edge has landed at some dealerships . Look on YouTube for videos.
This Sport trim that hit dealership yesterday has the optional 21' black rims .
I still cannot add them on my ford website in New Hampshire . Anyone else getting 21' black rims on sport trim?

Any news when you can order the optional 21' black wheels for the Sport trim yet? I just received $750 off coupon from Ford that exspires May 15th.

It does say off dealer lot , but it said that 3 years ago also and I order my Ford and they used coupon with no problems .So it has to be off the dealer lot in order to utilize the coupon?
PS do not tell them about your coupon until your final deal is done. So it will be really $750 off
* Dealership do not mind when you take out the coupon late after negotiate a deal because the $750 Off coming from Ford head quarters. Not dealer pocket.

So what kind of deals are people getting on there 2015 Edge ? I just received a $750 off coupon if I buy a Ford product and take delivery off dealer lot By 5-15-2015 . You get this coupon by going to Ford website and signing up for news and info and asking for a Brochure . I did this 3 years ago when I bought my Escape. Got my final deal then showed them this coupon and he put code in there computer and receved extra $750 off.

I also love the look of Electric Spice Sport with Black rims . Might have to wait for 2016 modle year to get black rims, driver package and heating steering wheel in Sport trim.

I hope you mean November 2015 NOT 2016I'll likely be waiting until I can get the 2.7 Ecoboost with a light interior (Sport, Platinum orTitanium). Also, for the new non-Microsoft Sync. I hope the wait isn't too long. November 2016?
I want to wait for Sport modle with 21' black wheels , driver package , heated steering wheel and ALL NEW SYNC 3 . Hopefully late summer of 2015

These look like pretty official pictures meant for a press release... My guess is that this is a special one-off example for promotional reasons, but it's sure going to confuse a lot of people when they try to order an Electric Spice Titanium only to find that the color is only available for the Sport model
I Love it!! Maybe I will order Electric Spice In Titanium rather then Sport if it come available later in 2016 modle year.

bad news, I talked with Ford through their web site chat feature and they said that the images for the cognac interior are computer-generated. That includes both the "build your own" tool and the image gallery picture I posted. So that means that the Youtube videos are probably closer to the actual color. It's a shame that the representation on the web site is so far off, especially the "build your own" tool.

Yah even the outside color of vehicle pictures are computer generated. The pictures of Sport trim Electric spice does not even look close to real color the on YouTube videos.

There is no confirmation of any of that in that article. Just speculation.

The all new sync 3 that replacing the old outdated slow MyFord Touch is going to be in 2016 Ford Mustang and all vehicles that follow this year. They could not get it in the 2015 edge in time of launch next month but if you wait couple months for the 2016 modle year you will be very happy.
Great videos cannot wait for the 2016 Edge with Sync 3 , driver package and 21' black smoked wheels.
Hopefully I can pre order soon ?

FWIW I'm getting the Sport in Ruby Red, but the stock 20" wheels, moonroof and other stuff. Been reading the manual and I have the impression the higher profile tires may be better for us. Hoping the ice will melt around here by the time the Edge arrives. Wanted a change from black since 2006. No word yet, so making some money in the stock market to pay the new toy. Someday...
I live in New England and will be getting 18' or 19' black rims with #1 rated( all year/snow tires) NOKIAN WRG3 for Half year NOV-APR
Could save couple thousand if used the stock 20' wheels all year round but look so much better with black rims on the Electric Spice color Sport.
Black rims or save money and get these stock rims?

Here a great video of Electric Spice color.I am hoping this electric spice color isn't too yellow and bright. I sort of got the "you ordered a yellow car" look from the wife. We'll see. The dealer said if I didn't like it, he would order me another one in another color. I am also not too concerned about the heated steering wheel (although I am sure I would love it if I had it). I mean I live in upstate/western NY where we get a sh*t ton of snow, but I've never had an issue with cold fingers.
I might have to wait for the 2016 modle year edge Sport to come out this Summer or Fall with 21' inch black wheels like in video and heating steering wheel and with driver package. Plus all 2016 ford vehicle will have All new improved Sync 3 in them. No more ford touch. I just hope they keep Electric Spic color for 2016

Ok so my update today from dealer was that driver package hold should be removed middle of march with production start of end of march.
End of March start of Production for your vehicle . They should of just called it the 2016 modle year.

Website still says heated wheel is only optional on Titaniums and not available on SELs or Sports. I think the photo is wrong unfortunately.
Even in the Ford Edge Sport video they shows heated Steering wheel. I think they should be able to get heating steering wheel in a sport trim modle somehow. There showing it and naming it on there pictures on official ford website , plus videos showing it too.
Maybe in Job 2 or the 2016 modle with Sync 3 and 21 inch black wheels.

I was on Ford Edge official website and looking at the 23 interior pictures they posted of Ford Edge. I just noticed that picture #4 says. " Sport interior in Ebony with optional heated steering wheel ".
So maybe there is going to be heating steering wheel in Sport trim after all ?
somebody else please go look and see if they see the same thing I just noticed.

Looks more chocolate colored than the one in the video posted a couple weeks ago. Was going to get that interior but have since changed my mind to the ceramic color.

Looks like Drive's Assistance Package $1,300 in Sport trim says " Late Availability" so probably coming in Job 2 ( 2016 ) model year. Same with the 21' black optional wheels.

Hey guys just got back from the dealership. Was asking about pricing anf when the expect 2015 Edge to come in. Was told that they expect them in the summer, then later on was told maybe a month. I had read on here (I think) that they "should" arrive my early March. Anyways, salesman told me that they only ordered a few Edge's, 3 SEL and 1 titanium, from the job 1 line and won't make another order until job 2 is in production. I was told they will have lots of the job 2's, just need to wait. I asked why wait until job 2 and he said it's because no job 1 Edge will have a heated steering wheel.
So I guess my question is has anybody heard this about the steering wheel? I haven't heard a thing. Second, when does job 2 ususally start? Is there a specific time frame for when job 2 starts on vehicles or is it just when they change something?
Maybe hopefully job 2 will also include sync 3.
I'm getting impatient waiting for these to get here!
Maybe instead of job 2 they will just call it the 2016 Ford Edge ? Bring in heated steering wheel in sport trim and All new Synx 3 that going to be in all 2016 and later Ford Models. I am going to wait before ordering . Most car manufactures and other Ford models are already advertising there 2016 that are coming out in couple months. They could of did like Volvo did this year with naming the Volvo XC60 a 2015.5 year.

I been viewing 2015 Ford Edge window sticker on dealer inventory on the official website. I did not see any heating steering wheel on a Sport trim in New England inventory. You can see what trims your dealer order and will be available 1st when they come out soon.

They had a 2015 sport at the Chicago auto show. Unfortunately it was all locked up.

Great pictures of Electric Spice color . I also want that color in my Sport trim. Just waiting for the 21' optional black rims are available to preorder my Edge or if they wait too long , might need to wait until fall for 2016 with sync 3 and hope they still keep the Electric spice color.
