Has anyone had any experience with a suspension spring lowering kit on a 2008 or similar Edge SEL.

Its white with the nice 10 spoke 18 inch factory wheels. I was thinking about a custom exhaust and maybe a little chrome trim like door handles. Also considering a lowering kit to bring it down about an inch and a half, but worry if that will change the ride to drastically.
