  1. Here is mine with 20%. It is matching with the rest of the windows. I live in SC and passed many cops and they honestly really dont care.

I wish cops didn't bother people around here(Louisiana) with tint. I got pulled over for 20% on my old truck. I have heard that 35% should be light enough to where cops wont notice much.

  2. best stock match is 20% if you want to match rest of the vehicles stock 'tint'.. search tint here and you can see many photos of it... 35% might look a bit off & disjointed IF you seek a good match.. if not, well...

Im not looking to match the back windows exactly. I just want something that wont look completely illegal(which I think the 20% would look) but still make a difference as far as appearance and sunlight.

Would you think the photoshopped picture looks more like 20% or 35%?

    Thanks

  3. Does anyone have a picture of 35% tint on their vehicle? I want to get it done, but I want to make sure it isnt too dark. I played around with photoshop and to see how dark I would like it, and this is what I came up with. Maybe some folks out there could estimate how dark this is.

    Thanks

  4. as tittle says.. looking for best current method to run both browsers on 1 PC so I can do some browser testing... anyone doing it and have a current solution better than the klunky ones seen from 2006 and 2007?

When IE 7 first came out and I had some issues with it, I was running IE 7 on my computer, and then I ran a virtual machine off of my computer to run IE6 just in case. This is technically on the same PC, but one of the IEs would be running virtually.

    Hope this helps.

  5. Hi "onthefrickingedge", and anyone else who is wondering about tire rotations (and with apologies upfront to "bulldog" and the help he was trying to give): :D The Owners Manual has a clear tire rotation diagram.

It specifically states the proper rotation pattern is the following: Right front to right rear. Left front to left rear. Right rear to left front. Left rear to right front.

My recommendation would be that it is best to follow that advice.

Of course, if you should ever replace your original Factory tires with ones that are "Directional", you will need to adjust your rotation pattern accordingly ("bulldog" would then be 100% correct).

    Good luck! :beerchug:

I have always gone front to back, back to font because I used to X my tires on one of my old vehicles and the belt slipped inside the tires and I had to replace them...and the tires were not directional. Ever since I used the front to back, back to front method, I have never had issues.

    Just my 2 cents

  6. I personally don't care for the look of the WeatherTech or AVS because if you look at them, they over hang at the edges, rounded over hangs even worse, and that just looks cheap to me. I like the fact that the Ford one stops at the hoods edge, has a straight edge and thus blends with the hood panels edge line.

BTW.. would still love to see someone with a Ford brand bug deflector mounted on their white sand tri coat :)

I also would like to see if anyone has pictures of the Ford brand bug deflector, but mounted on their Carbon Metallic.
