  1. I think that this is a normal design tolerance found in most any car; from the least expensive to the most expensive. It's probably accountable to being able to squeeze everything into the space available. From a marketing perspective, the layout of the instrument cluster has a greater first impression than a the steering wheel being off by an inch or so. Ever notice that the peddles are not standardized either?

The peddles are correct BUT...the footrest is too thick for nothing!! It's annoying...Have to rest my left feet on the ground!

If I rest my feet on the footrest...after 5-10 minutes, I realize I'm pushing with my left feet (because my left knee is 2 inch higher than my right knee (footrest too thick)) on the floor and creating a back pain.

    And you??

  2. Frank, just want to confirm that your experience was with a 2015 model, correct? Also, I have heated seats, so there must be some electrical leads running into the seat bottoms. Did you deal with these connections when you removed the seat bottoms? Thanks.

    Yes, 2015 Sport awd

There's only 1 wire on the driver side under the bench. Easily disconnectable.

  3. I just want my car back so I can get the process moving on having it declared a lemon. Ford says I'm not eligible for a rental vehicle but fortunately my dealer has given me one on their dime. They've been great to work with but I want this resolved sooner rather than later.

Primo: GO with the lemon law!!

Second: "you're not eligible for a rental...WTF are they serious!?! After 10 days !?!

  4. Finally, having the work done on my Edge.

1- They change both rail for the pano roof ("toc" while opening gone...) SOLVE

2- Rattle under the bench of the rear seat... After searching...didn't found something wrong !!?!?! NOT SOLVE

3- Weird sound over my head (roof? headliner?) while the body structure are under light torsion... NOT SOLVE

For #2... I'm testing something else tomorrow

For #3... I do not find where (exactly) the sound is coming....

  5. I got a squeaking noise coming from insude the headliner driver side near the door. Sounds like two pieces of plastic or hard rubber rubbing each other. Dealer found nothing, of course. No biggie, just annoying when the music's off. Also the Vista glass in the rear makes a creak or snapping sound whenever the body flexes (i drive up and down ramps alot since i live in a condo with 3 levels of underground parking i need to drive down/up. If it weren't for these annoyances, the car would have been perfect ... so far.

Same thing here about: "Vista glass in the rear makes a creak or snapping sound whenever the body flexes" ... !?$@#%

  6. THATS THE FUCKIN SOUND!

My dealer took a look one month ago...They didn't find nothing.

    I have 3 annoying rattle...

    The back seat!!!

From the top near of B pillar https://youtu.be/i9LM1kwmJtA

    During pano roof opening https://youtu.be/JNCl9w7ng4Y

And...since 1 month, at low speed, the pano roof make noise when the surface are not flat (the gap between the street and the sidewalk)...

  7. So I've had a rattle for the past month that I don't think anyone has described. This rattle is coming from the back seat i think sounds like from the passenger side. Sounds kinda like a sharp buzzing sound when i go over a lot of vibrations on a road esp the bumps before tolls on the highway. Anyone have an idea what this is?

    THAT fucking sound?

    http://youtu.be/njUo8tj8-rU

Coming from the back seat/passenger side...

  8. took it by the ford garage for the recall told them about it said they didn't have time to mess with it didn't suggest setting a time when they did have time

    WTF...your dealer is a idiot!

The noise come from the back rest of the back seat (passenger side) for sure. To test it...fold the split 40 (right side) of your back rest. While driving over 60 and hearing noise...push lateraly (toward the door) on the back rest and the noise is suppose to disappear...

Try it and give me a feed back.

PS: the dealer haven't fix my problem yet. They tried but...they failed.
