I think I know the answer and it may be normal...
This is my first AWD vehicle and it seems when I am at a stop or say doing parking maneuvers the steering is a little tougher.. Is this normal with AWD..
Feels lie when I have my Jeep in 4WD High...
Thanks for any help... -
Dealer programmed both fobs and enabled remote start.. Good to go..

If you read my original post I have tried that. The only response is the horn beeps.
Other places I have read (F150) sate that this indicates you have a setting only accessible through the IDS tool that allows extra remotes or limits the numberThis should work to program the button features of the IKT:
Procedure :
1.Close all doors, then open drivers door and press the Unlock button on drivers door while it is open, insert key into ignition.
2.Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 8 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. (if the door locks do not cycle, then it was done incorrectly. You must start over by removing key and beginning from step 1)
(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.)
3.Within 10 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5.
4.Within 10 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes.
5.Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode. -
I asked this in another thread but thought it might have got lost in the mix somewhere so starting a new thread..
2013 SEL
I have both my original keys and have programmed my new keys (2) to the point they will start the car. I get a message on the display after programming that states "unable to program integrated key" and none of the remote FOB features work.I have tried the on and off 8 times method and all it does when I press any button on the new remotes is sound the horn..
Any ideas before I go to the stealer?

got my keys cut at Lowes..for free
Tried all the programming methods in this thread and the keys will not program.
I followed the procedure and they are able to start the car but I get a message that sates unable to program the keys. When I use the cylce 8 times and I press a button on the new remotes the horn sounds.. only thing I can think of is
this from the directions
NOTE: This procedure works only if the customer spare key programming is enabled. If customer spare key programming is disabled, refer to Key Programming — Enable/Disable Spare Key or Key Programming Using Diagnostic Equipment in the workshop

OK so got my parts today.. I am confused. I looked at the thread you spoke to get the panel off
http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/8434-2011-ford-edge-200-series-remote-start-diy-bb5z-19g364-c/
And they show anther module being installed with some little blue antenna also...
This is all I have in my kit.. Do I need another module??
-
Well the remote start module is on the way, I have installed the hood switch. I have called a few dealers and they all want $100.00 to activate the remote start option.
-
Thanks much.. just have to gather some fund to do this...
-
Thanks, I checked it doesn't
-
Also do I need the hood sensor switch for this to work?
-
I like $155.00 Cheaper
Those 2 links say they are not compatible with a 2013 Edge

So I have read that the Ford OEM Rear Bumper Protector is nothing more than a sticker, does anyone know of a better one?
Thanks

Got my ford (grill inserts) parts in yesterday and starting the plasti dip process.
Did as some have directed through various videos but the final product isn't "smooth as glass" is that normal with plasti dip? -
Kuszak, did you use the "glossifier" on yours?
After seeing this I will try this first before I have the grill painted to match the vehicle (Tuxedu black) I am ordering a primed set of inserts to do mine off the car and have my chrome as a back up.
I do like the idea of the small chrome pieces staying chrome as it gives a little contrast

Found one thanks to kuszak

Hello, just bought a used 2013 Edge SEL AWD and love it so far. 2nd Ford I have owned, had a Ranger back in 1989
Wanted a AWD vehicle that was good on gas but didn't feel like I was in a small cracker box (Subaru) so we searched and compared, in the running were the explorer and Grand Cherokee (we own 2 other Jeeps) but the Edge was the winner with cost and features and mileage.. Look forward to learning more and maybe add some things...Peace

I ask because the shops I talked to here want $200.00 to paint the parts I bring in... Seems steep to me...
-
I can't add a profile picture, I am using avatars from other sites so not sure why it isn't working...
Thanks

So I have scoured the forum and seen MANY posts on Plasti dip the grill, send it out to body shop to get painted. But..
