In and working, no problems at all. My wife did not need any more reasons to mess with her phone than she already does. At least she can yell at this and it picks up destinations. Rather than her messing with her dam phone and putting the car in a ditch. Weve used it on 2 trips thus far and tracks perfect and has found the 2 destinations without a hitch. Travel Link even works after calling Sirius.

It would be nice to be able to install navigation into the MFT. It seems that Ford has not made this MFT upgradeable. based on some of the previous information. I guess I will just keep using my Garmin.

sorry man i missed the part where you said it was a fusion APIM, i would not have advised that.

 

Anyways just another update to say mine is still working great with no issues.

 

But the company that wrote the Navigation software that Ford uses didn't get any of your money. That's the point.

Despite the fact that you're spending a lot of money for PImods to get your navigation, you're still not buying the software license which means it is illegal. Not much chance anything would ever come of it, but you should be aware.

 

I'm also very curious how he gets the cluster to change to "directions" since the cluster software is completely independent of the APIM. I've actually had navigation added the "official" way and the cluster always needs to be programmed separately.

The system doesnt take OTA updates so I'm pretty sure you just made that up.

 

Either way, its still working and I will post here the day that it stops.
