  1. 18% on my fronts and it's pretty close. 80% on the windshield for UV and heat blocking. I live in CA and haven't had a problem. I had 10% on my mountaineer in Illinois, Nevada and California. During that time I've been pulled over for every other reason besides window tint. My thought is if you don't go crazy say 5% you'll be fine.

  2. I've been having the same problem. Lights worked great for months then one day started to flicker. Drivebright sent a free replacement. They worked for a day or two then started to blink. If I pop the bulb out and put it back in it seems to temporarily fix the problem. I did notice the LED light gets very hot even after 15 min remote start. I was going to put a multimeter to the socket but glad know it's the blubs and not my car.

  3. Just got back from my trip yesterday. It snowed 39" overnight and had no choice but to use the chains/cables. They worked great. I rode on them to the resort to the house to the store and back with out issue up to 30mph like the instructions said. On the snow there was zero vibration with the cables on the cleared rode there was a ton of vibration but that was expected. My tires never spun, I had the cables on the front for clearance issues and I checked for rubbing on any parts and didn't see a thing. Took the cables off after a couple days and drove the two hours home no problem.

  4. I'm going through this right now. Just purchased these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HZFDQE/ref=sr_ph_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484931948&sr=sr-1&keywords=Security+Chain+Company+SZ441

for my 2013 Ford Edge Sport AWD with the 22's. I did a test fit yesterday and they went on in under 10 min and fit well. The clearance looks good as well. I am heading up to Tahoe tomorrow and its forecasted 2+ feet of snow. I just checked the CalTrans website and the recommend that AWD put the chains on the rear tires.

  5. Hi Guys - Wanted to let you know that I was able to purchase 2 new uncut key fobs/IKT from the Ebay vendor 'Your Key Supplier' for $33. I took them to my local dealership and they cut and programmed the keys for $75. This was far less than purchasing 1 key fob/IKT from the dealership. I did check with the dealership prior to purchasing online to make sure that they would cut and program the keys for me. Thanks for all your help. You guys saved me a lot of money :)!

I just got my 2013 Edge Sport, and it only came with one key. The dealer is looking into getting me another key for no charge but in the mean time I am shopping around. I did a search on eBay for the seller you mentioned but it didn't pull up anything. I did find a seller for $55 a piece selling used but like new key fobs.

  6. I have a 2013 Edge Sport and its fabulous....

Ive upgraded the lights......installed both the headlights and drl's frim daytimebrightlites.com and OMG what a difference in the headlights!!

Also installed a K&N intake system but that was a total waste of both time and money...I noticed only negligable gain in power but have noticed when I really accelerate the intake is very loud sucking in air.....if I did it again Id just get the K&N filter that replaces the factory filter.

My Ford Touch has been upgraded once by the dealer and I have had no problems !

All in All...its been a fantastic vehicle !

I appreciate the feedback that's good to know. I have a short list of things I want to have done, first is the front windows tinted to match the factory tint. I'll look into the headlights, I have the obnoxiously bright headlights now and love them.

  7. Hello all,

New to the forum. Looks like a good group of posters here. I have been Edge shopping and finally found one that meets my requirements, a 2013 Ford Edge Sport.

I am going today or very soon to have a look at it, and before I make any final decisions I wanted to know if this particular year and trim level have any reoccurring issues?

For example, I have a 99 Mercury Mountaineer and nearly everyone has issues with the rear wiper arm or the MAF failing.

    Thanks in advance!
