  1. 18 inch steel black rims and gt radial champiro ice pro is what I'm going with....here in Alberta. ...I'm sure our winters are similar to yours. Used this setup on our torrent suv....and I kid you not...winter driving feels more like summer driving with the champiro ice

Pros....you can get them studded as well.

Let me know what you find for steel rims, because at the moment all the tires shops and wheel shops say they do not make a 5x108 bolt pattern steel wheel.

  2. You won't find any 18"steels for the Edge.... Normally the older edges they used a 17" steel for winter tires, but now that 2015 they changed bolt pattern to 5x108 and also increased the size if the brakes, So the 17" wheels will now not work. Must got to a 18" or larger, but only issue is they do not make the 5x108 wheel on anything bigger than a 17". So now you go from a $70 steel rim to a $200+ Alloy wheel

  3. I recently ordered a new 2015 Edge Titanium with the 20" wheels and I took along one of my 18" winter rims from my 2013 Edge Limited to ensure that it would fit over the brakes on the new Edge. I was disappointed to find that the brakes weren't the issue - the bolt pattern is a few millimeters different. So I guess its new winter rims for the new car. Tires will be fine though so its just the rims.

Most tire shops have been using the 17" steel rim on the older edges, they work perfect, I have found a 5x108 steel rim, everything lines up perfect, but the stupid brakes are in the way, they increased the size of them, So the wheel shop told me thats it, cause they don not make a 5x108 bolt pattern rim in any other size. Have to go to 18" Alloy wheel at almost triple the price.

  4. Ok here is what i found out over the last week, because i have been searhing for winter steel rims also. The New Edges other than changing bolt pattern they also made the Brakes larger so the 17" wheel will not work either, But in that bolt pattern they only come in 17's. So i talked to my dealer and they said i would have to order 18" aluminum wheels which are very pricey. Not sure if anyone else has found any better solutions
