I have updated my vehicle build date to 12/15/2015 found by Fordites

In our dealership (many years ago) it was a Volkswagon Beetle thermostat (air cooled engine) or a drive shaft balancer.

 

BTW OP, unless your Edge came from Canada, it doesn't have DRLs to be disabled.

VW air cool engines do have a thermostat which you can adjust on the engine right side bolt to the block

I wonder if a Edge built in Dec 2015 can have a Lower Vin number than one built in Sept 2015 both are 2015 models

My SEL build date or sticker date is 12/15 but the last five are 37531

The window sticker said 12/07/2015

Are VIN the same as serial numbers? Like my Edge being the 37531 built for 2015 model year?

Being a really concerned owner after purchasing a 50k vehicle and reading the horror stories and flogging the vehicle in monsoonish downpour, I got home, parked the vehicle, closed all doors/windows and put a digital humidity/temp tool on the center console, after 12 hours I checked the ambient humidity inside the cabin, happy to report there is no signs of water or add'l humidity. I can not say the same for other owners, but our build seems to be watertight, so far
