I have a 2016 Ford Edge Sport that I picked up 2.5 weeks ago. There is what I think a issue with the Defrost/AC water discharge that is hitting the exhaust pipes near the firewall. When I park the vehicle, I can hear the water hissing as it's evaporated by the hot muffler pipes. I've ask a tech at the Ford Dealership that stated all Fords do this by design. I don't believe having the water discharge on top of the muffler would be by design, but wanted to verify if anyone else has the same behavior. I would think the water dripping and hissing would alarm most new Edge owners.
